About
Join us for a special documentary screening event and Q&A.
Synopsis: This feature documentary focuses on two Australian doctors, Dr Siraj Sira and Dr Sanjay Adusumilli, who volunteered to go on a medical mission to Gaza.
Filmed in real time with most of the footage captured by the doctors themselves, Until the Sky Falls Quiet is a rare and personal record of resilience, loss, and the human cost of bearing witness in the world’s largest ‘open air prison’.
Nominated for a Change Award at the Adelaide Film Festival, 2025
Q&A: Dr Ayman Elattar (Emergency Physician) will be at the post-screening Q&A. In 2025, Dr Ayman spent a month on a medical mission in Gaza, working out of Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
Proceeds (minus GST and costs) for this event will go to: PANZMA (70%), Global Medical Foundation Australia (10%) and the documentary team (20%) to help the documentary's distribution, advocacy and impact campaign.
Organisers: Shoalhaven Friends of Palestine and Avenoir Productions (Production company behind the documentary)
