Join us at Dungeon Books to celebrate the release of Sublimation by Nebula Award-winning author Isabel J. Kim! Isabel will be joined in conversation by Yume Kitasei, author of Saltcrop, The Stardust Grail, and The Deep Sky. The evening will include a Q&A and photos/signing.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Isabel J. Kim lives near New York City in an apartment filled with books and swords. She is the author of numerous short stories and has won the Nebula, Locus, and the Shirley Jackson Award. Her work has been translated into multiple languages and reprinted in multiple best of the year anthologies. When she’s not writing, she’s practicing law or podcasting. Sublimation is her first novel.

Yume is an author of speculative fiction. Her books include: The Deep Sky, The Stardust Grail, and Saltcrop (Flatiron Books/Harper Voyager UK) and one forthcoming: Envoy (Tor/Harper Voyager UK) in 2027.
She is Japanese and American and grew up in a space between two cultures -- the same space where her stories reside.
She graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Princeton University and lives in Brooklyn with two cats, Boondoggle and Filibuster.
