NIYF x WHIRLIGIG invite you to the lush verdant farm of Tiny Tempest to swirl, whirl, n twirl in a barn under the moon and stars. A place to converge, see old faces, make new friends, have full belly laughs, sing around a campfire, dine on frito pies adorned with steaming hot chili, feel the gentle evening breeze on your cheeks as you step outside flushed from moving your body in community. Guided by the caller, following steps into the flow of the musical winds. Come release, ground, and wiggle with us!

Create your own adventure and build the schedule that works best for you. Join for all the festivities Saturday-Sunday or just the barn dance. Arrive as early as 5:00pm if you'd like extra time to lounge, explore, sit and read, etc!

Tiny Tempest Farm is 1.5 hrs from Chicago

A carpool sign up sheet will be sent out in the coming weeks!

Train from City w/ Shuttle provided by Us

$6 round trip

UP-NW leaves Chicago 3:30 -> Arrives at Harvard 5:20pm -> Back to Chicago 9:30pm, also 10:20am Sunday

ACCESSIBILITY:

Please stay home if you aren't feeling well!

If you are able, taking a COVID test beforehand is appreciated, masks optional.

There are ticks (UGH) in the field, we recommend camping in the cut grass areas to reduce exposure. Perform tick checks with your friends!

Most of the paths are gravel and uneven. The entrance to barn is a grass ramp that is not ADA-certified.

There will be port-o-potties on site as well as a hand washing area.

Please limit phone usage while on the farm to encourage community connections and to create a screen-free environment.

CAMPING OPTIONS:

Collective barn space - bring your own bedding/pad and have a giant sleepover in the barn

Outside (on grass or in open field) - cut grass areas prepared, or open field for more privacy

Car camping - sleep in your vehicle
