About ACML 2026
The 18th Asian Conference on Machine Learning (ACML 2026) brings together researchers, students and industry professionals to share advances in machine learning research and applications.
The program includes the Main Conference, Workshops, Tutorials, Encore Sessions, Industry Sessions and social events.
Conference Dates: 1–4 December 2026
Venue: Building 80 (Swanston Academic Building), RMIT University, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Registration Information
Please select the registration option that matches your attendee status and any accepted papers you need to register.
All prices on this booking page are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include 10% GST.
Main Track Author Registration Deadline: 1 November 2026, 23:59 AoE (Anywhere on Earth).
Each accepted Main Track paper must be covered by the required registration by this deadline. At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the conference in person and present the paper.
Main Conference Registration
For registration purposes, Conference Track and Journal Track papers are treated together as Main Track papers.
Full Registration
For general attendees and authors registering one accepted Main Track paper.
Select 1 × Main Conference – Full Registration.
Student Registration
For currently enrolled students attending without an accepted Main Track paper. This option does not cover Main Track paper registration.
Select 1 × Main Conference – Student Registration.
Author Registration (2+ Papers)
For authors registering two or more accepted Main Track papers.
Select 1 × Main Conference – Author Registration (2+ Papers).
The price includes two full registration fees, regardless of the number of accepted Main Track papers.
Student Author Registration (Exactly 2 Papers)
For currently enrolled student authors registering exactly two accepted Main Track papers.
Select 1 × Main Conference – Student Author Registration (Exactly 2 Papers).
The price includes one full and one student registration fee.
Student authors registering three or more accepted Main Track papers must select Author Registration (2+ Papers).
For either combined author registration option, select a quantity of 1. You do not need to purchase two separate tickets.
Encore Track Registration
Each accepted Encore paper must be covered by an Encore Track registration or a One-Day Pass for the day of its presentation.
Encore Track – Full Registration
For non-student authors of accepted Encore papers.
Encore Track – Student Registration
For currently enrolled student authors of accepted Encore papers.
Both Encore Track options include full conference access, the Conference Banquet and Excursion. Neither option has an early bird rate.
Encore authors attending only on their presentation day may instead select a One-Day Pass. See the conditions below.
Main Conference Full and Student Registrations also allow attendance at Encore Sessions. However, attending a session does not fulfil its paper registration requirement.
Authors with both Main Track and Encore papers must satisfy the registration requirements for each track separately.
One-Day Pass
For attendees joining the conference on one selected day.
The pass includes access to workshops, tutorials, industry sessions and Encore Sessions taking place on that day. It does not include the Conference Banquet or Excursion, and no early bird rate applies.
A One-Day Pass cannot be used to fulfil Main Track paper registration requirements.
Encore authors must select their presentation day and provide their Encore Paper ID and title during registration.
Student Status Verification
All student registration options require current student status.
Please enter your student ID number during registration. After registration, we will email you to request a valid current student ID card or current enrolment confirmation.
Please also bring your valid student ID to the conference registration desk.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected] by 23:59 AoE on 21 November 2026. Refunds for cancellations received by this deadline are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellation requests received after this deadline.
