Synopsis: This feature documentary focuses on two Australian doctors, Dr Siraj Sira and Dr Sanjay Adusumilli, who volunteered to go on a medical mission to Gaza.
Filmed in real time with most of the footage captured by the doctors themselves, Until the Sky Falls Quiet is a rare and personal record of resilience, loss, and the human cost of bearing witness in the world’s largest ‘open air prison’.
Nominated for a Change Award at the Adelaide Film Festival, 2025
Q&A guests: Dr Sanjay Adusumilli from the documentary and Khaled Shakhshir (Executive Producer and humanitarian aid worker who worked in Gaza in July 2024)
Proceeds (minus GST and costs) for this event will go to: Global Medical Foundation Australia (the charity that the doctors in the documentary went into Gaza with) and the documentary team to help the documentary's distribution, advocacy and impact campaign and cover costs such as additional translations and subtitling, venue hire, software subscription costs, tech support costs, digital marketing etc.

The documentary has been rated by the Australian Classification Board as MA15+ due to strong injury detail and disturbing images. This means that children under 15 may not legally watch the documentary unless they are in the company of a parent or adult guardian. If children under 15 would like to watch the film, then they must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian for the duration of the film and it is the parent or adult guardian who must also be the one purchasing the ticket.
